Since 1972, Pride Packing Co. has worked to become one of the top 20 stone fruit (peaches, nectarines, and apricots) producers and top 100 apple producers in the United States. With 3,000 acres of farms in Washington, they are one of the biggest farms in the Northwest.
Pride Packing approached us and said they wanted us to share their company story so we packed up and headed to Yakima, Washington for a 2 day trip (they made sure we brought our drone).
We wanted to do more than just tell the story, we wanted to show the care that Pride puts into every tree that’s planted. We wanted to capture the importance of family and tradition. We wanted the viewer to see what 3,000 acres of trees actually looks like. The final draft was published in October and has been used to attract customers to the fruit ever since.
The DJI Inspire 1 was used for all our aerial shots, and the Sony a7s (mounted on a Glidecam) was used for our ground views.
